당시 해스팅스는 골동품점을 시카고에서 운영했는데 이 점포를 샌드위치 점포로 바꾸면서 당시 갖고 있던 여러 골동품으로 레스토랑 내부를 꾸몄는데 팟벨리 스토브라고 불리는 가운데 부분이 배처럼 불룩하고 둥그렇게 나온 주철난로가 포함되어 있었다.
